4.24.08   "BLUE ADELINE" on "BROTHERS & SISTERS" Viewers of ABC's "Brothers and Sisters" will hear a familiar voice during this week's show, as KD's "Blue Adeline" will show up somewhere in the soundtrack. The show airs Sunday, 4/27 at 10:00pm EST. 4.22.08   EAST COAST SHOWS! KD will be wrapping up the Shotgun Singer release tour on the east coast over the next two weeks. Many of the shows will feature Signature Sounds labelmate the Winterpills backing KD up for some of her set. At some point we'll make an effort to get some chord changes up there too. 4.15.08   SHOTGUN SINGER OFFICIAL RELEASE DAY It's official today - Shotgun Singer is available in physical and online stores as well as of course our own store. Happy spring, happy tax day, happy record release! 4.8.08   KD IN THE MIDWEST THIS WEEK KD will be in Chicago on Wednesday 4/9, Minneapolis on 4/10, and Madison on 4/11 to celebrate next week's release of Shotgun Singer. Meg Hutchinson will co-bill in Minneapolis, open the show in Madison, and just come along to sing a little harmony on KD's set in Chicago. 3.19.08   KD in EUROPE KD is currently in Europe playing release shows for Shotgun Singer. The tour includes dates in Paris as well as many cities in the Netherlands and UK. Dennis Crommett of the Winterpills is accompanying on guitar and vocals. Browse on over and check them out... 2.27.08   KD AND WINTERPILLS VISIT THE WEST COAST!     For the entire west coast tour, KD's labelmates the Winterpills will be backing her up as her band. The Winterpills' evocative sound and amazing harmony vocals are the perfect fit for the songs on Shotgun Singer . The shows will also feature an opening set by the Winterpills as themselves. Some of the clubs are small, so be sure to reserve your tix early so you don't miss out! 1.30.08   SHOTGUN SINGER ON ITS WAY!     The new album, Shotgun Singer, is finished and will be out in the world soon. The official Signature Sounds release date is April 15, but KD will be selling it on the road starting with the west coast dates in March. Look for more information about the record soon, as well as details of a companion EP and a new look for this site. Expect new songs, old songs, and whatever else comes up in the moment. The wonderful Ana Egge will open nearly all of these shows. People of the Northwest, scheduling problems made it impossible for this March tour to include NW dates, but it is not for lack of love!
