 Jabe has played about a million shows with me and played on most of my records. We once made, and kept, an unfortunate drunken vow to play a different Billy Joel song (which we weren't allowed to start learning until after soundcheck) each night of a west coast tour. We still feel badly for those people.
In addition to working as a sideman for various other people, recording various other peoples' records, designing art for other peoples' records (he & I created the art for Five Stories and Songs for a Hurricane together), teaching me to juggle, and helping create the band The Benders, Jabe has put out four really killer records of his own really killer songs, including te most recent, Where Are We Going and When Do We Get There, which includes the song "Paradise," a favorite in the Redbird live shows.
