And while we're in the neighborhood, this is Sean Staples's band which plays his (and other peoples') great songs in sort of a bluegrass format, though I hate to say that, because the music spills so far beyond the capacity of that particular container.  Everyone else in the band has joined me on stage and/or on record at some point too.  Eric Royer, banjoist extreme, played on Five Stories; Tim Kelley, dobro sorcerer and ambassador to Japan, did too and has joined me for shows here and there. Paul Kochanski just recently played bass, sang, and even acted a tiny bit on Strange Conversation and its subsequent release shows. The Muhammad Ali-style footwork that Paul executes while he is recording backup vocals is truly something to behold. 

In any case, the playing in this band is scary good and the energy is real real real.   There are three records so far and you will probably find you must have them all.
